TiLink TCA-AA95, Bis(acetylactonate) isobutoxide isopropoxide titanium, is a titanium chelates with acetylacetone as chelating agent with CAS No. 97281-09-9. It is the equivalent product to Tyzor AA-95 from DuPont.

TiLink TCA-AA95, titanium acetylacetonate, can be used in a variety of applications that involve its reactive properties. It is mainly used as an adhesion promoter in flexographic gravure printing inks. It offers benefits such as ehanced curing, improved chemical, solvent water resistance enhanced heat resistance. Provides improved crack resistance, enhanced stability compatibility of pigment dispersions colorants improved gloss. The items below describe a few of the more salient features
1. Catalyst:
As a catalyst TiLink TCA-AA95 titanium acetylacetonate is used in an amount of ca 0.01-1 %. TiLink TCA-AA95 titanium acetylacetonate is often added as the last ingredient of the reaction components to prevent undesired pre-reactions. Transesterifications run at low temperatures < 100 C. Esterifications (e. G. Polyester preparation) need temperatures of > 180 C.
2. Crosslinking:
Fcross-linking reactions TiLink TCA-AA95 titanium acetylacetonate is added to the polymer / binder in concentrations of ca. 0.5~5 %.
3. Coating:
Titanium dioxide layers can be prepared by using thermal hydrolytic processes. Thermal decomposition occurs at > 350~600 C. By spraying, dipping brushing of the substrate from solutions subsequent hydrolysis by moisture also TiO2 layers are formed.
4. Primer:
As primer TiLink TCA-AA95 titanium acetylacetonate is applied normally in very low concentrations of ca. 0.1~5 % in anganic solvent such as isopropanol. Heating after application to 80~100 C fa short time might be of advantage.
5. Sol-Gel:
Total partial hydrolysis of TiLink TCA-AA95 titanium acetylacetonate possibly in combination with other metal alkoxides affords metal oxides fuse as binder coating.
