It is an amino silane with dimethoxy group, this structure let it have a good stability in water borne system compared to other trialkoxy silane. It is also an amino functional silane that may be used over abroad range of applications. It is a main material of synthesizing textile softener, amino silicone oil, with D4. This product is used to promote adhesion between inorganic an organic surface, fillers or reinforcements and resins that react with amino groups.

1. Sealants: addition to one and two part silicone crosslinked sealants and polysulfide sealants, plastisol sealants improves adhesion to variety of substrates, including glass, metal, concrete and other inorganic surfaces. 
2. Molding compounds: As an additive in phenolic and epoxy molding compounds, reduces the water absorption of molded composites. This, in turn, leads to improved wet electrical properties, particularly at low frequencies.
3. A main material with D4 to synthesize amino silicone oil, a new type textile softener.

3-Aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane (CAS No. 3663-44-3), Silane coupling agent SCA-A10T, is an important additive in many applications. For example it can be used as an additive in cold-curing phenolic and furan foundry resins to improve the flexural strength of sand/resin elements with very long shelf life of the resins.
